Caroline Stephenson is a native of Murfreesboro, NC. She did her undergraduate studies at Boston University and Columbia College in Chicago. She moved to Los Angeles in 1994 and worked for many years as an Assistant Director for films and televison (House, MD, Eli Stone, Las Vegas, Even Stevens). Caroline has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 2001. In 2009, her documentary "Lost Colony" won best doc short in the Ava Gardner International Film Festival.
In 2010, Caroline returned to Northeastern North Carolina and focused her filmmaking efforts on bringing arts to the community. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the "C.S.Brown Cultural Arts Center" in Winton, NC. Together with her husband Jochen Kunstler, she founded of the "North Carolina Family Film Festival".

A native of Germany, Jochen Kunstler got his start at ZDF German Television in production management. He moved to the United States in 1997 and studied film at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles, CA. Jochen produced and directed the documentary "Deeds not Words" (1998) about the Wildlife Way Station in the Angeles National Forest, which aired on Discovery UK.
Since 2000, Jochen has edited for Percy Adlon (acclaimed Director of "Bagdad Café") and numerous other Directors. Percy Adlon’s feature film "Mahler on the Couch" made its World Premiere at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival. Jochen was praised for his work in Adlon’s feature film "Hawaiian Gardens" (2001), hailed as "a brilliantly edited real life drama" by the Hollywood Reporter after its premiere at the Munich Film Festival. In addition to his work on feature films, Jochen also edited the Sony Web series "Angel of Death" (directed by Paul Etheredge) which became the most watched program on Sony's Crackle.com.
For the German version of Entertainment Tonight, Jochen worked as a "Preditor", shooting and editing stories about red carpet events and entertainment related issues. Jochen now lives with his wife, two kids, cats, dogs, and chickens on the Stephenson family farm in Como, NC. He is a member of the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce and the cofounder of Barn Films, LLC.
